How to convert salary to an hourly rate

Hourly rate = annual salary ÷ 52 ÷ hours per week
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × 52

Full-time work in Australia is usually 38 hours a week, the maximum ordinary hours under the National Employment Standards. Paid annual leave is part of the salary, so the 52 weeks include it. Casual rates include a loading (usually 25%) instead of paid leave.
